Finally stopped white knuckling my bag in crowds

Took this through Rome last spring. Everyone told me to watch out for pickpockets but honestly forgot about it after day one. Passport in the hidden pocket, phone in the front zip. Got through every security line without digging around once. Replaced my backpack for the whole trip. Back home in New York and still wearing it on the subway daily.
